Hugh M. Bryce, 90, of Albuquerque, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, March 22, 2007. He was born August 31, 1916 in Durango, CO to John Robert and Edna Dell Bryce. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel H. Bryce and his second wife, Irma Mae Gupton Bryce. Mr. Bryce was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, he also served his country during WWII and retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years as a Major. He then worked and retired from the First National Bank of Albuquerque after 20 years. He was avid community volunteer after his retirement with his church and meals on wheels. He enjoyed baking his pies during the New Mexico State Fair for the Asbury Pie Cafe. He is survived by his sons, Hugh M. Bryce and his wife, Maria, Edwin A. "Tony" Bryce and his wife, Theresa all of Albuquerque NM; step-daughter, Brenda Stewart of North Carolina; grandchildren, Lauren Bryce, Johannah and husband, Brian Ruddy, all of Albuquerque, Jacob Bryce of Boston, Sarah and her husband, Chad Brinkman, Isaiah Bryce, all of Albuquerque and Robert Allen Stewart of North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Conner Ruddy, Ella Mabel Brinkman; his sister, Mary Jean Duncan of Arizona; his brothers, Andrew and Douglas; his sister-in-law, Colleen Bryce all of Colorado; brother-in-laws, Bernard Floyd, E.H. Floyd, Geoffrey Floyd ,all of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Croonenberg; his brothers, John R. II, Donald, and Jesse Allen Bryce.
