Cal Neese and Art Neese were brothers from Coffee Co., Tenn. who came to Cripple Creek,Co during the gold rush of the 1890's. Cal was killed in the line of official duty as Marshal of Cripple Creek. Art purchased the plot in 1920, Cal is buried on one side, Art and his wife on the other.
