Evelyn Cecelia Rogers Born Melbourne, Australia, Nov,. 10, 1874. A resident of Salida for 40 years and of Leadville, Colorado for 4 years prior to her death. Widow of George R. Rogers (12-6-57) and mother of Ms. Blair Meldrum and Ms. Wm. Banovich. Died on the above date (April 13, 1969) at Leadville, Colorado after a lengthy illness. Funeral services held at the Chapel of the Vision, Salida, April 15, 1969, by the Rev. Paul McClung, Temple Baptist Church, and interment at Fairview Cemetery along side grave of husband.

Born in New South Wales, Australia on Spetember 19, 1876. A resident of Salida for about 40 years. Husband of Evelyn and father of Mrs. W. Banovich and Mrs. Blair Meldrum. Died at home on the above date. Funeral services at Chapel by Rev. Schoenwald of the First Baptist Church on Dec. 10, 1957, 2:00PM and interment in Fairview Cemetery. Committal services by Officers of BPOE 808 (Elks). Music” When I get to the end of the Way” and “I Will Pilot Thee” by Mr. & Mrs. Milton Myers, Mrs. Ted Stevenson, accompanist.
