Ben was born March 30, 1936 to Benjamin J. and Mary Bopp in Colorado. He had a younger brother, Leo. Ben married Juanita. They were blessed with three children Barbara, Joseph, and Beverly. Ben graduated from Adams City High School in Adams City, Colorado in 1956. Ben was in the Army Specialist 4th class. Ben died July 19, 2013 and is buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery Denver, Colorado. Section 35 site 592.
Ben worked for many years at Safeway stores in the Denver area. He started when he was in high school. He started as a caddy and worked as a stocker and where ever he was needed. He worked for Safeway for about 30 - 35 years.
Ben was a very hard working man. He was honest and expected that from everyone else.
Ben was quite a comedian and made the party lively. If you knew him you would never forget him.
