William Gay (Bill) Mendenhall was born May 4, 1939 in Kansas to James and Lottie I. Mendenhall. Bil married Donna Lee Conger. They lost one daughter who was stillborn December 12, 1959. Their second child Rebbecca Lois was born December 15, 1960. Bill died in Vietnam November 2, 1966. He is buried in section Q site 1748.
