Gilbert Elmer (Dick) Rhoads was born August 27, 1903 In Ionia, Jewell County, Kansas to Jackson Henderson and Alberta Agnes Cook Rhoads. He is their second child. He was nicknamed Dick by their family doctor when he was a child. He died in Golden, Colorado May 11, 1974.
He married Ethel Emma Topliff February 2, 1929. They had four children. After Ethel died, February 11, 1947, Dick married Alberta M. Slade April 17, 1954.
He is buried in block 236 A lot 2 grave 7.
