Joseph Augustine Garnier formely last name was Gagne. He was born 9 Nov. 1849 in St. Fabien, Rimouski, Quebec, Canada or Montreal, Canada and died 21 Jan. 1909 Westcliff, Colorado. His parents were Jospeh Jacques Gagne b.1815 d. between 1880-1885. Mother was Marie Theotistie Roy/Lauzon. They were French Canadians.
His children were: Mary Adelaide Hocking; Joseph Elmer; Lula Kaiser; Edith Josephine Payne; Joseph Emil Philpus Garnier "Phil"; Rose Florena Gay; Joseph Alphonse Garnier; Joseph Lony Felious Garnier; and Leta Marie McDonald.
