Deceased Name: PATRICK FRANCIS MORRISSEY
PATRICK FRANCIS MORRISSEY, 75, of Maitland, Fla., a former Colorado Springs resident, died Nov. 9 in Winter Park, Fla. He had worked in sales with Universal-Atlas and U.S. Steel.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Nov. 12 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park. Burial was in Maitland. Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes, Winter Park, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Morrissey was born Jan. 23, 1913, in Pueblo, to Frank and Patricia (Brown) Morrissey. In 1931, he graduated from St. Mary's High School, where he had played football and was a member of Beta Theta Pi. Mr. Morrissey served in the Navy during World War II and served on Adm. Chester William Nimitz's staff for a year and as a gunnery officer in the Pacific for three years. Mr. Morrissey was discharged with the rank of lieutenant senior grade.

Mr. Morrissey is survived by his wife, Mary C. (Clifford); two sons, retired Air Force Col. John C. Morrissey of Lees Summit, Mo., and Patrick W. of Miami; three daughters, Sharon Pearce of Chevy Chase, Md., Margaret of Altamonte, Fla., and Mary Wittenhagen of Danvers, Mass.; a brother, Dan of Lakewood; a sister, Virginia Kenda of Colorado Springs; and six grandchildren.
