Cornelius J. Murphy was born July 22, 1894 to Jerry & Margaret (Shaughnessy) Murphy in Kit Carson, CO. “Con” was the Irish nickname that he was known by. He served in a Tank Company in WW I (1917 & 18). He married Clarris and many years after her death Ellen. He died March 25, 1962 in Denver at the age of 67.
