Civil War 1861-1864. Discharged as a Sergeant with disability suffered at the Battle of Bloody Angle, Spotsylvania Court House,VA 12 May 1864. Member GAR. Died on the way to Red Cliff when horse and buggy left road on Battle Mountain. They fell almost straight down 400 feet to the railroad tracks below.
