This is my father's grave. He served in the 90th Div, 357 Infantry Regt. Company G. Basic training at Camp Barkeley, TX in 1942, in
Louisanna maneuvers, early 1943, Camp Granite, Calif. in fall of 1943,
Division was shipped to Ft. Dix, N.J. in Dec.1943, shipped overseas to England in mid-March 1944. Landed on Omaha beach on D Day +2, 8 June 1944.. killed in action on 12 June 1944.. his body was returned to USA in Nov 1948 and buried at Hilltop cemetery, Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
